Job description

The Web Development Support staff is responsible for maintaining, updating, and supporting the organization’s websites and web applications. This role assists in troubleshooting website issues, implementing updates, and ensuring websites remain secure, functional, and optimized. Details:1. Website Maintenance & SupportMaintain and monitor the organization’s websites and web applications.Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, bugs, and performance issues.Ensure website uptime and reliability.2. Content & Page UpdatesImplement requested updates to website content, pages, and media.Assist teams in uploading announcements, resources, and digital materials.Ensure proper formatting and responsiveness across devices.3. Development SupportAssist in implementing new web features and functionality.Support front-end development tasks using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Work with existing frameworks or CMS platforms to improve usability.4. Testing & Quality AssuranceTest website functionality across browsers and devices.Ensure new features or updates do not disrupt existing functionality.Document issues and coordinate fixes with the development team. QualificationsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience1–3 years experience in web development or website support.Experience working with content management systems (CMS) preferred.Knowledgeable in PHP frameworks such as Symfony or LaravelKnowledgeable in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Angular, Dart, CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)Familiarity with:Website debugging toolsBasic SEO practicesGit or version control systemsExperience in Full-Stack and Server-Client Web Applications development is a plus
