Senior SMSF Accountant (AU)

Work Setup & Schedule:5:00am to 2:00pm – Mondays to Friday1-2 months onsite during probationary period then will transition to Hybrid setup with 1–2 days onsite per month or quarter. JOB OVERVIEWThe SMSF Accountant will support business services in handling assigned client(s) by the partner or client counterpart in the preparation of reports and workpapers for multiple SMSF clients. This role will have the opportunity to manage client portfolio tasks and deadlines as well as communicate to the respective client engagement team What you’ll be doing:Prepare financial statements, tax return and audit file for SMSF clientsPreparation of workpapers in line with the organization's standards and processesEnsure compliance with SMSF regulations and organizational guidelinesPrepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements) and other regulatory returnsPreparation of year-to-date reconciliation and interim reports at requestPreparation of ad hoc reports for special events in SMSFs, including TBAR reportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation What will make you a great fit:BS Accountancy graduatePreferably a CPAAt least 3 years of experience in SMSF Accounting or a related fieldWith 3-5 years of work experience in finance and accountingUnderstands SMSF regulations, accounting, and financial reporting principles and practicesStrong written and verbal English skillsKnowledge of SMSF accounting systems (e.g. SuperMate or Class Super or BGL360) • Well organized and detail-orientedAble to conduct training for new staff members if neededHas analytical mindAble to work on their own initiative and part of a teamStrong problem-solving skillsExperience managing multiple client portfolios preferred What D&V Philippines can offer you:D&V Philippines is a place where you can build and grow your career because we invest in your training and development.
