QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA professional with strong manual testing skills and experience in API validation. You will be part of the QA team for a high-traffic social media platform, ensuring both front-end and backend components meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a user-first mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyze product requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.Conduct end-to-end testing of user journeys including posts, comments, likes, shares, and notifications.Validate UI/UX elements, user workflows, and accessibility standards.Design and execute test cases for APIs, backend services, and UI.Execute functional and exploratory testing using tools like TestRail.Log and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.Collaborate with the engineering team to understand technical requirements and resolve issues.Participate in daily stand-ups, QA audits, CI/CD pipeline testing, and release validation.Ensure compliance with privacy, security, performance, and data protection standards. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manual testing, preferably for large-scale platforms.Must have strong experience with TestRail test management tool.Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.Familiarity with Postman and Swagger.Familiarity with social media platform features and workflows (e.g., feeds, messaging, notifications, privacy settings).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences. -------------------------------------------------------The protection of your personal data is important to us.
