About the Role In this role, you will work closely with and support our Division Head, gaining valuable, hands-on corporate experience in both foundational finance operations and office administration. You will provide critical support for the development of projects within BDP to achieve the project's objectives and stakeholders' expectations, from conceptualization and initiation through project closing, managing the business case development and project life cycle of renewable energy (preferably Hydropower Projects). Responsibilities Support end-to-end project development from screening and feasibility studies through pre-construction and construction phases by integrating processes, stakeholders, and project objectives.Collaborate with project sponsors and shareholders to align project execution with strategic business goals and organizational priorities.Evaluate and analyze project opportunities prior to conceptualization and initiation, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.Support the management of greenfield projects from pre-development through development while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Monitor project budgets, schedules, milestones, and deliverables while coordinating with consultants, vendors, and contractors.Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, and Regulatory to facilitate project execution and stakeholder alignment.Develop and maintain project charters, communication plans, stakeholder updates, and project documentation.Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and enabling functions to address project requirements and mitigate potential risks.Prepare and present project progress reports, milestone updates, and key developments to management, shareholders, and stakeholders.Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support project objectives and successful project delivery.Serve as an advocate for project initiatives within the organization, promoting collaboration and strategic alignment.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by senior leadership. Experience At least 1–2 years of related work experience in project management, construction management, and/or business development, preferably within the power sector (power plants, transmission lines, and substations).Experience working with regulatory agencies, government and public sector organizations, LGUs, local communities, and senior decision-makers/shareholders.Knowledge of large-scale renewable energy projects, preferably hydropower developments, or comparable infrastructure projects.Experience in long-distance travel and site management involving team members, contractors, and stakeholders.Experience in hydropower project development is an advantage. Education Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.Master’s degree in Project Management is preferred. Required Skills Knowledge of hydropower development is an advantage.Core Competencies: High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions and multi-task efficiently. Solid background in technical project management, project controls, risk management, and contract negotiation. Willingness to handle long-distance travel and site management of team members, contractors, and stakeholders.Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (excellent verbal, written, and technical writing) and a cooperative team-player mentality featuring leadership, critical thinking, and relationship management. Willingness to be visionary, optimistic, positive, curious, and goal-oriented.
