AT A GLANCE (OVERVIEW)The Product Supervisor is responsible for leading the development and execution of new and existing products acrossthe portfolio. This role oversees the product development process from concept creation through market launch,ensuring products align with brand strategy, consumer needs, quality standards, and commercial objectives YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAYProduct Development and Project Leadership• Own multiple product development projects simultaneously from ideation through commercialization.• Establish development timelines, key milestones, and project deliverables while ensuring projects remainon schedule.• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Operations, andexternal partners to drive successful launches.• Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and development partners to ensure timely deliveryof samples, formulas, packaging, and documentation.• Proactively identify development risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and qualityexpectations.• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to management regarding project status, launchreadiness, and development challenges.Color Development and Shade Creation• Lead the development of color stories and shade assortments based on market opportunities, consumerpreferences, sales performance, and competitive insights.• Create and refine shade range strategies that support category growth and portfolio objectives.• Develop clear shade briefs and performance requirements for suppliers and manufacturers.• Review laboratory submissions and product samples to evaluate color accuracy, payoff, texture, finish, andoverall product performance.• Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to recommend shade expansions, optimizations, ordiscontinuations.• Ensure shade selections align with target consumer needs and brand positioningProduct Testing and Quality Control:• Oversee product testing programs to ensure products meet performance, quality, safety, and regulatoryrequirements.• Review testing results and identify gaps between product performance and intended design objectives.• Partner with suppliers to troubleshoot formulation, packaging, or performance issues and drive correctiveactions.• Evaluate samples against established quality standards and approve products for progression throughdevelopment stages.• Ensure all required documentation, claims substantiation, testing reports, and regulatory requirements arecompleted before launching.• Monitor launch readiness across product, packaging, inventory, and operational requirements. Product Performance and Business Insights • Analyze product performance using sales data, customer feedback, market trends, and competitiveintelligence.• Develop recommendations for product improvements, reformulations, shade extensions, packagingupdates, or portfolio optimization.• Prepare business reviews, product performance reports, and innovation updates for management and keystakeholders.• Track post-launch performance and identify opportunities to improve future product developmentinitiatives.• Support category planning and forecasting discussions through product and market insights.Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management• Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and development support to the Product Design team.• Review and provide feedback on research findings, product briefs, testing evaluations, and projectdeliverables.• Promote best practices in product development, project management, documentation, and cross-functionalcollaboration.• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support efficient productdevelopment execution.• Drive accountability across project teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables and launch objectives. Communicate openly, shareinformation, and contribute to solving day-to-day work and customer challenges LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES• Decision Making & Accountability – Makes informed decisions and takes responsibility for results andaddresses issues promptly.• Strategic Thinking – Anticipates trends and aligns plans with business goals, recognizes how customerneeds and day-to-day operations impact team goals, adjust plans to support immediate priorities andoverall targets.• People Development – Provide constructive, timely feedback, acknowledge achievements, and encouragecolleagues to expand their skills.• Conflict Management – Identify the root cause of disagreements, propose fair options and confirmagreements before closing the issue.• Managing Self – Plan tasks in advance, adjust smoothly when schedules or assignments change, andremain composed during busy hours or peak workload.• Learning Agility – Quickly understands and applies new processes or systems with minimal guidance,adjust priorities when plans change; explain new learnings to teammates in simple terms YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS) • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Cosmetics Science, Chemistry, or related field.• At least 3-5 years of experience in product development, marketing, or a related role in the beauty industry.• Experience managing multiple product development projects from concept through launch.• Strong understanding of consumer insights, trend analysis, product innovation, and commercializationprocesses.• Strong organizational and project management skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Passion for beauty and understanding of market trends.• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
