Job description
The Key Accounts Manager will lead and develop a team of Key Accounts Specialists. This role is responsible for strengthening relationships with high-value clients, creating and executing programs to increase purchase orders, and driving long-term growth across key accounts. It combines leadership, strategic planning, and direct client engagement to ensure exceptional service and sustainable revenue growth. Supervise, mentor, and develop Key Accounts Specialists to ensure effective client managementSet performance targets and KPIs for the team and monitor progress regularlyFacilitate collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement within the teamBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major clientsUnderstand clients’ business goals and challenges to offer tailored solutionsAct as the escalation point for client concerns or issues, ensuring swift resolutionIdentify opportunities to increase purchase volume across key accountsDesign and implement incentive programs, loyalty campaigns, and sales initiatives that drive client engagement and order growthCollaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to create offers that resonate with key buyersAnalyze account performance, trends, and buyer behavior to inform strategyPrepare regular reports on team performance, client activity, and growth outcomesUse data insights to refine and optimize account strategies RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Accounting, or any related business courseAt least 3–5 years of experience in Sales Administration, Sales Support, or related administrative roles preferredStrong attention to detail in handling sales and inventory dataExcellent communication skills, particularly for phone-based coordination with accounts and field teamsProficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic sales data consolidationFamiliarity with sales reports, inventory monitoring, and retail data entry systems is an advantage
