Overview: The Inventory Team Lead plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of TRT’s global inventory operations. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory analysts, managing inventory movement across multiple global warehouses, and ensuring inventory systems support TRT’s service delivery commitments and global SLAs.
The role requires a strong balance of hands-on inventory expertise, people leadership, analytical capability, and operational discipline, with the objective of maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting uninterrupted service delivery across TRT’s global operationsKey
Responsibilities:Lead, supervise, and provide day-to-day direction to the Inventory Analyst team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to inventory controlsOversee inventory tracking, monitoring, and reconciliation across TRT’s global warehouses and storage locationsEnsure inventory availability aligns with service-level
requirements, project demands, and customer commitmentsAllocate inventory resources efficiently across regions, warehouses, and service locationsCoordinate closely with supply chain, logistics, procurement, and technical teams to support operational needsReview, validate, and approve inventory reports, variance analyses, and discrepancy investigationsIdentify inventory risks, shortages, overages, and obsolescence, and implement corrective and preventive actionsDrive continuous improvement of inventory systems, processes, and reporting accuracyEnsure compliance with internal controls, audit
requirements, and inventory governance standardsSupport forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment strategies to optimize stock levelsEscalate critical inventory issues proactively and recommend solutions to managementTrain, mentor, and develop inventory team members to improve performance and operational maturity
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or logisticsPrior experience leading or supervising an inventory or operations team is strongly preferredExperience working with inventory systems, ERP tools, and reporting platformsExposure to global or multi-location inventory operations is an advantage.
