Impex Officer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented Impex Officer to oversee and ensure the smooth, compliant, and efficient execution of all import and export activities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining regulatory compliance, managing external partners, and supporting business operations through effective cross-functional collaboration.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient and compliant execution of all import and export operations in alignment with Philippine customs regulations and applicable government laws. Monitor day-to-day import and export activities, ensuring adherence to company policies, standards, and regulatory

requirements. Manage and oversee external service providers, including 4PL partners, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other contractors, to ensure high service quality and full compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact with government agencies involved in cross-border shipments; proactively resolve customs-related issues, delays, or compliance concerns.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, and other business units to establish efficient import/export processes and lanes. Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to customs compliance and governance. Ensure all processes are aligned with ISO standards and internal compliance frameworks.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related fieldPreferably a Licensed Customs Broker (advantage but not required)At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, or logistics from a principal company or organization.

Strong knowledge of Philippine customs regulations, trade compliance, and government processesExperience managing brokers, forwarders, and logistics vendorsExcellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
