Job description
The Field Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of field sales agents to achieve sales targets for telecom products and services. This role ensures effective territory coverage, strong customer acquisition, and consistent execution of sales strategies in assigned areas. The supervisor also monitors performance, provides coaching, and ensures operational discipline in the field. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and support field sales agents in assigned territoriesDrive achievement of sales targets for SIMs, broadband, postpaid plans, and other telco productsMonitor daily field activities, sales performance, and productivity of agentsConduct field visits, coaching, and on-ground support to improve sales executionEnsure proper execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and product launchesTrack lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition metricsIdentify underperforming areas and implement corrective action plansEnsure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and ethical standardsCoordinate with marketing, distribution, and operations teams for execution supportPrepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updatesManage inventory of SIMs, devices, and promotional materials (if applicable)Resolve field issues and escalate concerns when necessary QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related fieldExperience:2–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the telecommunications (telco) industryAt least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role is preferredExperience handling SIM card distribution, prepaid/postpaid sales, broadband, or device sales is a strong advantageProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field-based setupSkills and Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to motivate and drive field sales performanceStrong understanding of telco products, sales cycles, and customer acquisition strategiesAnalytical skills for tracking sales data and performance metricsHigh adaptability and willingness to work in field-based environmentsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficient in MS Excel and basic reporting toolsPreferred:Experience working with distributors, dealers, or retail networks in telco industryFamiliarity with territory management and route-to-market strategiesExperience in high-volume, target-driven sales environments (B2C or B2B)
