Job DescriptionReview factory schedules and Build Plan to ensure the demand and materials are driving correctly in the ERP system.Attend all critical Core Team Meetings prepared to discuss all materials and documentation issues.Control the purchase of unique and/or EC-controlled materials to support build plan of early prototypes, pilot runs and production ramp up until materials are stable in the designProcess of the initial Bill of Material in the ERP system. Work with Design Team regarding timely BOM update, ECO implementation & communication to Planning & MSR before or during the buildRaise SRF for outgoing factory / customer shipments coming from Eastwood EngineeringRespond weekly to Factory Commodity team with regards to go/no go of build of EC-controlled Commodity assembly to prevent scrappageProvide timely response to Planning's BOM exposure report to ensure that cost/scrappage are accounted for. QualificationsGraduate of BS Engineering course or equivalentAt least 2-year related experience in Materials EngineeringAdvanced MS Office skills > Word, Excel, PowerPointGood written and communications skillsFamiliarity with Oracle MRP SystemHas initiative to solve problem and make decision in the most effective way.Self-motivated with good prioritization & organizational skills
