E-Channel Operations Officer

Job description

Summary:Reporting to the Head of E-Channels Monitoring and Support Unit, the E-CHANNEL OPERATIONS OFFICER assists the Unit Head in the management and supervision of the work activities of the Unit to ensure timely and appropriate resolution of branches/customers queries/complaints and other technical issues arising from the day-to-day operations of the E-Channels network. Job Responsibility: 1. Assist the Unit Head in preparation of the unit's objectives, targets and action plans, and on the regular monitoring of its realization.2. Assist the Unit Head in leading and motivating staff to drive improvements in team and individual performance, optimize systems and practices to deliver excellence in service delivery.3. Assist the Unit Head in reviewing operating processes and procedures and other requirements of the Unit.4. Ensures strict compliance with the rules and regulations and policies of the Banks and other policy making body such as Bancnet, VISA, Mastercard;5. Ensures the installations of E-Channel terminals and manage the maintenance, enhancement and development of E-Channel backroom operating systems;6. Ensure support for all Bank Units, BancNet and other BancNet member banks by providing timely, information, reports, and other requirements.7. Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Bank's information systems containing sensitive and proprietary data.8. Ensure information security protocols are followed considering that elevated/higher access privileges are utilized by the job function in processing sensitive data in the Bank's automated tools and systems.9. Work with the Department's Associate Information Officer and other security authorities of the Bank to maintain and increase security within the IT infrastructure where assigned automated tools and systems operate.10. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superiors from time to time Requirement:Bachelor's Degree preferably in business-related course; preferably with Master's Degree or equivalentMore than 5 years experience in business/banking/finance operations40 hours of relevant technical training and 40 hours of supervisory/ management trainingCareer Service Professional/relevant eligibility for second level positionAmenable to work in a shifting schedule
