Job Title: Accounting SupervisorJob Location: Makati CitySalary Range: Php 60,000 - 80,000 Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounting Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can effectively manage accounting processes, supervise accounting personnel, maintain compliance with financial and tax regulations, and support management through accurate financial reporting and analysis. As a key member of the Finance and Accounting Team, you will work closely with the Accounting Manager, Accounting Head, and other departments to ensure efficient accounting operations, strong internal controls, and sound financial management practices. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely recording of financial transactions.Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by accounting staff.Manage and monitor Accounts Payable transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and approval procedures.Review payment requests and supporting documents to ensure validity, completeness, and proper authorization.Prepare, review, and submit weekly, monthly, and periodic financial reports required by Management.Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of financial reporting requirements.Support tax compliance activities, including review of tax-related schedules, documentation, and statutory reports.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and internal control requirements.Coordinate with internal and external auditors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.Supervise, coach, and develop accounting personnel to ensure high levels of productivity, accountability, and professional growth.Prepare financial analyses, schedules, and management reports to support business and operational decision-making. Qualifications: EducationBachelor's Degree in Accountancy.Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Relevant certifications in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Internal Audit, or related disciplines are an advantage. ExperienceMinimum of (5) years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, or related functions.At least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacityStrong experience in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Account Reconciliation.Must have experience in tax compliance, audit coordination, and regulatory reportingExperience using SAP or other ERP systems is a must Skills and CompetenciesGeneral Accounting and Financial ReportingAccounts Payable and Disbursement ManagementFinancial Analysis and ReconciliationTax Compliance and Regulatory ReportingInternal Controls and Risk ManagementLeadership and People ManagementProcess Improvement and Problem SolvingStrong Attention to Detail and AccuracyTime Management and Deadline ManagementStrong Communication and Interpersonal SkillsProfessional Integrity and AccountabilityIntermediate to Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
