Accounting Assistant

Philippines. JOB SUMMARY:Monitoring of official receipts, reviewing and posting transactions for adjusting entries in the General Journal. Prepares the entries and analysis for investment accounts, lease transactions. Performing the Bank and Account Reconciliation ensuring that all cash transactions are accounted correctly in the books on a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of the Annual Statement, Audited Financial statements and Annual Budgets. DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures that transactions for posting in the General Journal are accurate and valid. Ensure recording of transactions are accurate and timely. Reconcile collections report between accounting records and sales recordsReconcile and match entries between bank statement and general ledgerPrepares valuation entries for stocks, bonds and mutual fund investments held by the company. Reconciles the valuation with accounting records and ensures accuracy of reporting.

Prepare schedules, reconciliations and other required supporting documentsReview and post transactions for adjusting entries in the General Journal. Review and post cash receipts to the sales journalPerform bank reconciliationPrepares the entries and analysis for investment accounts. Assist in preparation of reports, such as but not limited to: Annual Budget, Annual Statements, Audited financial statementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or related field.
