The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join the Primary School team from July 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum, fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. This role would suit a dedicated educator who is passionate about supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally during this important stage of their development. The teacher will be expected to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and contribute actively to the wider life of the school community. Key Responsibilities & Expectations Deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 5 curriculum Plan engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners Monitor, assess, and report on student progress effectively Create a nurturing and well-managed classroom environment Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders Contribute to co‑curricular activities and wider school initiatives Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing Requirements A recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent) Recent experience teaching within Upper Primary or Key Stage 2 Strong understanding of child development and effective classroom practice Excellent communication and organisational skills A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching Experience within an international school environment is advantageous Desirable Experience teaching an international curriculum Familiarity with digital learning platforms and educational technology Previous experience working within a multicultural school setting Additional Information Small class sizes and supportive leadership A welcoming international school community Competitive international salary and benefits package Professional development opportunities available throughout the year #J-18808-Ljbffr
