Solutions Engineer – AWS & Technology SolutionsWe are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join GD Xchange Sdn Bhd, the technology arm of GDEX group. GD Xchange Sdn Bhd delivers end-to-end technology capabilities across supply chain and e-commerce solutions, cybersecurity solutions, cloud subscriptions, workspace solutions, smart devices, and connectivity solutions. The role will primarily focus on AWS cloud solutions, working closely with customers and the sales team to understand business

requirements, develop suitable solution proposals, and demonstrate the value of our technology offerings. As our technology portfolio grows, you will also have opportunities to develop cross-domain expertise through training and hands-on exposure to other areas, including BI & analytics, AI and AI-agent solutions, cybersecurity, automation, and digital technologies. Job ResponsibilitiesEngage customers to understand their business needs, technical

requirements, and challenges. Recommend suitable AWS cloud solutions aligned with customer

requirements. Prepare solution proposals, presentations, and other pre-sales documentation. Conduct product demonstrations, solution briefings, and technical presentations. Develop high-level solution designs and architectures in collaboration with technical teams. Translate technical concepts into clear business

benefits for technical and non-technical audiences. Customer Engagement & Business DevelopmentWork closely with the sales team to qualify opportunities and develop suitable solution approaches. Participate in customer meetings, requirement discovery sessions, and tender or proposal exercises. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding customer engagements. Stay updated on AWS services, cloud technologies, industry developments, and customer needs.

Build expertise in AWS cloud services, solutions, and best practices. Participate in cross-domain training and progressively support other technology solutions, including BI & analytics, AI, cybersecurity, automation, and other digital technologies. Collaborate with sales, solution specialists, and technical teams to develop integrated solutions addressing broader customer

requirements.

Requirements & QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Knowledge of AWS cloud services is preferred. AWS certification(s) will be an added advantage. Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, technical sales, cloud services, or IT solutions is an advantage. Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, security, or related technologies is beneficial.

Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand customer

requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions. Comfortable engaging with customers and collaborating with sales and technical teams. Proactive, customer-oriented, and commercially aware, with a willingness to learn across multiple technology domains.
