PHP Developer

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases. Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Develop and maintain web applications and APIs. Conduct technical analysis, solution design, and database design. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Provide technical guidance to team members. Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Required Skills & ExperienceDegree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 5 years' experience in software development and systems implementation. Strong experience with:PHP 8CodeIgniter FrameworkMySQLCSSjQueryRESTful APIs (XML/JSON)Experience with CodeIgniter migration from V3 to V4 is advantageous. Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Static Code Security tools. Understanding of web application security principles. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
