Logistics Manager

Plans and implements activities related to Order Fulfilment, Traffic, Logistics and Trade CompliancesCommunicate, follow up, and coordinate timely response/action from the factory to specific issues brought up by internal/external customersParticipate in specific projects related to Warehousing, Inventory, System, Trade Compliance.

Identify and establish efficient/optimized storage space and system to safe keep, track, retrieve, and update finished goods inventory, in addition to security aspectsManage freight billing verifications, validations, working closely with finance on freight budgeting and cost monitoring, with timely updates in the system.

Responsible for the Warehousing activities related to import and export, liaising with forwarders, carriers, and local government agencies to ensure conformance for controlled product shipment.

Facilitates and coordinates the procurement of various licenses eg Sub-Con licenses, LMW, Bank guarantee, tax exemptions, and their periodic renewal as may be requiredSupport in the negotiation, selection and appointment (jointly with tender committee) of forwarders/carriers regarding rates, schedules, space, cargo handling and services based on service performance and price competitiveness.

Monitor forwarders/carriers' performance in terms of quality and responsiveness of service related to OTD, Lead Time, Expedite Service, hand carry, etc. Hire, develop and coach subordinates for continuous improvement and career developmentsSupport full compliance with related audit

Requirements: -At least 8-10 years of working experience, including experience in a managerial role. Experience in related warehousing management, inbound/outbound shipping and order fulfilmentExposure to WMS SAPAbility to plan shipping schedules to meet delivery deadlines during holidays, plant shutdown, etc. Forecast budget for the entire warehousing and traffic operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr.
