Exam Pattern

  • Prelims: 200 objective questions, 200 marks, 3 hours (OMR sheet)
  • Negative marking: 0.33 mark deducted per wrong answer in Prelims and GS Paper-I (Mains)
  • Prelims is qualifying/screening — marks not added to final merit
  • Mains total: 600 marks across three papers

  1. Preliminary Examination — 200 MCQs (OMR), screening only; marks not counted in final merit
