About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled Atlassian Consultant with expertise in Atlassian Cloud, Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, automation, and AI-powered collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing Atlassian solutions while leveraging Atlassian Rovo and modern AI capabilities to improve productivity, knowledge discovery, and enterprise collaboration.

The role requires close collaboration with customers, presales teams, and internal stakeholders to design scalable Atlassian solutions, implement best practices, and deliver business value through Cloud-first architectures.

Key

Responsibilities:Atlassian Cloud AdministrationAdminister and support Atlassian Cloud products including Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence. Configure and maintain projects, workflows, issue types, screens, permissions, notification schemes, automation rules, and dashboards. Design scalable and maintainable Atlassian solutions aligned with customer business processes.

Perform Atlassian Cloud implementations, upgrades, optimization, and platform governance. Experience planning and executing Data Center to Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migrations. Perform migration assessments covering applications, configurations, users/groups, integrations, and Marketplace apps. Support migration planning, test migrations, validation, cutover, and post-migration stabilization. Experience with popular marketplace apps. Experience with various reporting tools.

Experience with Marketplace applications such as ScriptRunner, Xray, Zephyr, Tempo, BigPicture, EazyBI, Insight/Assets, etc. Experience with Atlassian Administration, Atlassian Guard, SAML SSO, SCIM/user provisioning, authentication policies, user/group management, and enterprise access controls. AI & Atlassian RovoDesign and implement AI-powered solutions using Atlassian Rovo. Configure and optimize Rovo Chat, Rovo Search, and Rovo Agents for enterprise use cases.

Develop and optimize prompts to improve AI-assisted workflows and user productivity. Build and configure Rovo Skills and Actions to automate business processes. Curate enterprise knowledge sources to improve search relevance and AI-generated responses. Identify opportunities to leverage Atlassian Intelligence and AI features to improve collaboration and operational efficiency. Solution Design & ConsultingWork closely with customers to understand business

requirements and translate them into scalable Atlassian solutions. Participate in customer technical discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and solution presentations. Collaborate with the Presales team for solution design, effort estimation, and technical proposal preparation. Recommend best practices for Atlassian architecture, governance, security, and scalability.

Automation & IntegrationsDesign and implement automation using Jira Automation, REST APIs, Groovy, Python, or PowerShell. Integrate Atlassian products with enterprise applications and third-party tools. Develop reusable automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. Configure advanced workflows, custom fields, forms, request types, SLAs, and reporting. Platform Governance & SecurityImplement governance standards across Atlassian products.

Configure user management, access controls, security settings, and permission schemes. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices. Monitor platform performance and recommend continuous improvements. Documentation & Knowledge ManagementPrepare technical documentation, implementation guides, architecture documents, and operational runbooks. Conduct administrator and end-user training sessions.

Mentor junior consultants and share Atlassian best practices across teams. 5–8 years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian products including Jira, Jira Service Management, Asset, Atlassian Guard and Confluence. Strong experience with Atlassian Cloud administration and solution implementation. Expertise in configuring workflows, schemes, automation, dashboards, permissions, and integrations.

Hands-on experience with Rovo Chat, Rovo Search, and Rovo Agents, Rovo Skills and Actions. Experience in prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflow design, and prompt optimization. Experience curating and managing enterprise knowledge sources for AI search and knowledge discovery. Strong scripting skills using Groovy, Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs. Experience integrating Atlassian products with enterprise applications.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with ITSM best practices and Agile methodologies. Good to Have:Conceptual understanding of Forge and the ability to identify when Forge is more suitable than native Atlassian configuration or Marketplace applications. Atlassian certifications (ACP) are preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile:Strong customer-facing consulting experience.

Excellent presentation and solutioning skills. Ability to gather

requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience working with enterprise customers across multiple industries. Passion for AI-driven productivity and continuous learning within the Atlassian ecosystem. Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to organizational capability building. Work on enterprise-scale Atlassian Cloud transformation programs. Build innovative AI-powered solutions using Atlassian Rovo.
