LimerickFull-time, permanent | Office-basedA well-established and growing engineering and construction business is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join its Limerick-based design team, delivering infrastructure projects across the water and wastewater sectors.

The role offers an experienced engineer the opportunity to take ownership of water network design, working closely with project managers and wider engineering teams, and would suit someone with strong design experience, ideally from a main contractor background.

ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of water network infrastructure projectsProduce and review detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation using AutoCADTake ownership of design deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered accurately and on scheduleWork closely with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholdersReview technical

requirements and develop practical, cost-effective design solutionsProvide technical input on design queries, reviews, and project issuesEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, specifications, and project requirementsSupport projects from initial design through to construction and completionProvide technical guidance and support to more junior members of the design teamRequirementsRelevant engineering qualificationStrong experience in water network design – essentialProven experience in a design engineering roleProficient in AutoCADMain contractor experience strongly preferredWastewater network experience highly desirableQGIS experience desirableAbility to work independently and take ownership of design deliverablesOfferSalary: €65,000–€75,000 DOEFull-time, permanent positionOffice-based role in Annacotty, Co.
