The Opportunity: Bedford Lane is set to grow over the next few months. In preparation for that, we are keen to speak with skilled Full-stack Developers and Engineers who are thinking about their next move! The sky is the limit as we scale, with lots of exciting projects and growth opportunities on the table. You:Are highly skilled in Shopify (Liquid, APIs, Functions & UI extensions), HTML, CSS, Vanilla JavascriptHave a design eye, and you’re familiar with Figma, bringing prototypes and creatives to life through codeHave experience and a keen eye for detail when creating animations using CSS and JavaScript libraries such as GSAP and Framer Motion.Are considerate, empathetic, and kindHave experience working directly with clients and can bring a strategic mindset to client solutionsShare knowledge. You are collaborative, enjoy learning from those around you, and have a team mindsetHave an interest in developing skills in React, Vue.js, Node.js, and other web application technologies (bonus if you have one or two of these already)May also have knowledge of CRUD operations via API technologies such as REST and GraphQL What success looks like over the next 12 months:Liaising with clients, defining the strategy for projects, ensuring that all key stakeholders' perspectives are accounted for, and providing winning solutions through collaboration with a cross functional teamDevelop and customise engaging ecommerce websites on ShopifyCollaborate closely with our designers to create custom themes and layouts, taking them from concept → prototype → implementation with expertiseOptimise websites for speed, usability, performance, security and discoverability - with a positive customer experience front of mindDebug and test websites to enhance performanceEnsure smooth connections with Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools and Platform APIsDevelop reusable code and libraries for future use, documenting the development process and user guides as you goParticipate in code reviews to keep our code quality at the highest level What you want:To walk us through your recent Shopify projects A place where you can own projects, working closely with Elite Clients, knowing there is an experienced team around you to lean on as neededRemote, until we open our Bali office, and then it will be 2-3 days per week in the officeGrowth - we have big ambitions to scale, so the sky is the limit!4 weeks Work from Anywhere per year!A Macbook Pro
