An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Projects & Energy Transition team in Jakarta. This role offers the chance to work on some of the most significant energy, infrastructure and mining projects across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.Working closely with an experienced team and international network, you will advise a broad range of public and private sector clients on complex, high-profile transactions and developments. Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising on major energy, infrastructure and mining projects.Supporting the structuring, financing and development of large-scale projects.Drafting and negotiating project agreements and transaction documents.Providing regulatory and commercial advice across the project lifecycle.Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser on complex matters.Working collaboratively with local and international teams on cross-border projects. RequirementsQualified lawyer in Indonesia.Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience gained within a leading law firm.Strong projects experience, ideally within:Power & Renewable EnergyOil & GasMiningInfrastructureExcellent drafting, negotiation and technical legal skills.Strong understanding of project finance and regulatory frameworks.Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.Experience managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice.Additional qualifications, foreign admission or an LLM would be advantageous.
