Range salary : Rp8.000.000 - Rp14.000.000 Job DescriptionEnd-to-End Product Lifecycles: Direct and supervise the entire product development pipeline from initial conceptualization, market research, and raw material sourcing, through to prototype sampling, factory pilot runs, and mass production.NPI Pipeline & Stage-Gate Management: Formulate and manage structured New Product Introduction (NPI) roadmaps, utilizing rigorous stage-gate systems to ensure all cross-functional checkpoints—including costings, safety, and operational feasibility—are met on schedule.Sourcing & Factory Collaboration: Partner closely with Global Procurement to identify, vet, and build strategic relationships with top-tier domestic and international original equipment manufacturers (OEM/ODM), managing technical specifications and quality benchmarks.Formulation & Material Engineering: Oversee the development of product formulations, material components, and functional mechanics, ensuring that product chemical, physical, and aesthetic properties match premium brand standards.Cost Engineering & Margin Optimization: Execute detailed bill-of-materials (BOM) analysis and cost engineering strategies to optimize product margins while safeguarding product structural integrity, durability, and target retail pricing models.Prototype Testing & Iteration: Lead the physical sampling, benchmarking, and prototyping phases, initiating rigorous performance testing (durability, usability, shelf-life) and executing iterative adjustments based on data feedback.Cross-Functional Commercialization: Interlock directly with the Marketing, Creative, Regulatory, and E-commerce divisions to build smooth asset hand-overs, ensuring product packaging, regulatory compliance, and unique selling propositions (USPs) are fully aligned.Market & Competitor Mapping: Conduct systematic research into emerging consumer behaviors, retail sales statistics, and global design movements to propose high-yield product innovations and portfolio expansion strategies.Quality Assurance Alignment: Work collaboratively with Quality Compliance teams to establish clear, measurable baseline testing standards and operational guidelines for production lines to prevent defects during scaling.Portfolio Lifecycle Management: Continuously evaluate the performance of active product lines, recommending iterative engineering enhancements, ingredient updates, packaging refreshes, or SKU rationalization strategies based on market performance data. QualificationsEducation: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Product Design, Business Management, or a highly relevant scientific or technical discipline.Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive, professional experience in Product Development, Research & Development (R&D), or Brand Management, explicitly within the consumer goods (FMCG), skincare, household retail, or home appliances sectors.Manufacturing & Supply Chain Literacy: Deep functional understanding of OEM/ODM industrial manufacturing processes, injection molding, formulation scale-up, global supply chains, and international sourcing mechanics.Financial & Analytical Acumen: Advanced analytical capability to interpret financial cost sheets, construct comprehensive pricing models, calculate target costings, and execute accurate margin analysis.Project Velocity Management: Proven history of leading multiple complex product development tracks concurrently, demonstrating excellent organization to hit target launch dates within volatile market settings.Briefing & Technical Drafting: Strong ability to synthesize abstract design ideas and marketing insights into highly precise, actionable Technical Specification Sheets and manufacturing design briefs.Software Literacy: High proficiency in using project management tracking suites (such as Asana, Trello, or Jira) and advanced data sheets (Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets) to map out component tracking trees.Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required to manage technical requirements with external manufacturing engineers and defend product viability to executive management.Creative-Analytical Blend: A sharp eye for consumer design trends, color balancing, and ergonomics, backed by a clinical, data-driven approach to mechanical verification and execution.
