Based in Indonesia, we aim to drive clinical innovation while facilitating clear, precise, and authoritative global medical communication.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, 100% on-site role for a Medical Manuscript Editor & Proofreader located at our office in Semarang. The core responsibility of this position is to review, edit, and proofread medical manuscripts with a target volume of approximately 300,000 words per month. You will ensure that all documents from our local and global clients adhere to strict language, style, and formatting standards, including AMA style.Beyond core editing duties, you will coordinate seamlessly with our internal research teams and assist in email administration to manage communications with our clients based in the USA. There will also be opportunities to take on additional projects, such as editing and proofreading our internal articles as performance-based bonuses.Compensation:A competitive monthly salary ranging from Rp 3,400,000 to Rp 8,000,000, tailored to individual performance and output.QualificationsEditing & Proofreading: Strong expertise in manuscript development, language editing, and content refinement, coupled with the capacity to manage a high-volume workload (~300,000 words/month).Language Skills: Excellent command of written English with a keen eye for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and meticulous attention to scientific and medical terminologies.Formatting Knowledge: Knowledge and application of AMA style guidelines.Communication & Admin: Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle professional email correspondence with international clients (USA).Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively and coordinate directly on-site with healthcare professionals and internal research teams.Education: A degree or certification in English, Medical Writing, Healthcare Communications, Medicine, Biomedical Science, or a related field is preferred.Experience: Prior experience in the medical or scientific publishing field is a strong advantage.
