Inventory Costing Manager

Job Responsibilities:Provide cost impact analysis for pricing, promotions, and new initiativesSupport budgeting and forecasting for inventory, logistics, and COGSOwn and monitor key KPIs such as, Inventory accuracy (%), Shrinkage rate, Cost per order / logistics cost, Inventory turnover & agingEnsure accuracy of the cost of goods sold (COGS) recorded in systemAnalyze and reconcile variances between standard costs and actual purchasing costs, identifying root causes for discrepanciesAnalyze the supply chain logistics cost, mid and last mile delivery cost and other related costAnalyze the shrinkage and obsolescence inventory to minimize costMonitor month end closing activities related to inventory, COGS and other cost include supporting documents for management reviewEnsure the inventory activities are recorded accurately and in accordance with PSAK and align with company policies.Support internal and external audit including the stock opname processesLead development and improvements to costing processes and workflowsPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to drive cost optimization initiativesLead and develop the inventory costing team, including performance evaluation and capability developmentProvide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on cost and inventory analysisDrive system improvements and automation for inventory costing and reportingEnsure data integrity and synchronization between WMS and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to resolve system gaps and improve integrationLead initiatives to strengthen inventory data governance and control framework Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting5-8 years of experience in cost control, preferably in retail, FMCG, or e-commerceStrong understanding of PSAKStrong analytical and problem-solving skill, have attention to detail and experienced in preparing inventory and cost analysisProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite)Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentExperience leading or mentoring teams to maintain high inventory accuracy standardsExperience handling high-volume SKU environments or multi-warehouse operations is a plus
