Electrical Engineer [Batam & Jakarta Placement]

Role Description(Batam & Jakarta Placement) The Power System Engineer is responsible for conducting power system studies and ensuring technical feasibility of grid interconnection for utility-scale Solar PV (PLTS) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role supports project bankability and compliance with grid requirements. Core Responsibilities- Perform load flow, short circuit, and transient stability studies- Conduct harmonic analysis and protection coordination studies- Develop grid interconnection schemes (MV/HV level)- Prepare interconnection study reports for utility submission- Analyze solar PV generation variability and grid impact- Support BESS sizing and dispatch strategy- Prepare Single Line Diagram (SLD) and system architecture- Perform losses calculation and reliability analysis- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local regulations Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power System preferred)- At least 3 years of related working experience- Experience in using ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory，and/or PSS®E- Experience in utility-scale renewable projects or grid interconnection studies is preferred- Active English or Chinese is preferred
