We Are Looking ForAs the Operations Manager – Facilities, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of multiple data center sites through an outsourced FM team. You will ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all critical systems while ensuring that outsourced vendors meet agreed service levels, company standards, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key operational leader, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across facilities. You will coordinate and oversee the outsourced FM team, ensure proper execution of maintenance programs, incident response, change management, and operational reporting, and work closely with internal operations teams to meet operational objectives. Job Responsibilities Operational Oversight: Manage the operation of multiple data center sites via the outsourced FM team, ensuring all critical systems (electrical, mechanical, BMS, and infrastructure) operate reliably.Vendor Management: Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the outsourced FM team’s performance, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations are met.Maintenance & Reliability: Ensure preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities are executed according to SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs.Incident & Change Management: Lead incident response and root cause analysis, and oversee change requests through the FM team, ensuring proper execution and timely closure.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements, HSE standards, and company policies, including data center certifications.Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track operational KPIs, prepare reports for Senior Management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Cost & Resource Management: Monitor FM vendor costs, optimize operational expenditures, and propose efficiency improvements.Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support the development of the FM team through mentoring, coaching, and sharing best practices to maintain high operational standards. Requirements Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related) or Facilities Management.5–10 years of experience in critical facility operations, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.Proven experience in managing outsourced FM vendors or teams.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and BMS systems, operations standards, and HSE regulations.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, outsourced vendors, and senior management.Familiarity with DCIM/BMS systems, maintenance management software, and operational monitoring tools.
