BPSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) recruits SDO, DSP, BDO and allied Group A/B officers for Bihar. Three stages: Prelims (objective, qualifying) → Mains (4 GS + Hindi + Optional, 900 marks) → Interview (120 marks).

BPSC CCE Exam Pattern 2026

  • Prelims: 150 MCQs, 2 hours — marks not counted in final merit (screening only)
  • Mains: descriptive papers; Hindi Essay compulsory
  • Optional subject chosen at application — 3 papers, 200 marks each
  • Interview: 120 marks — board assesses personality, communication and administrative aptitude
  • Final merit = Mains written + Interview (Prelims marks excluded)
