SSC MTS & Havaldar CBT has two sessions on the same day — Session-I (Maths + Reasoning, no negative marking) and Session-II (English + GA, with −1 per wrong). Syllabus is matriculation level.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2026
- Both sessions compulsory on same day
- Session-I: +3 marks per correct · no negative marking
- Session-II: +3 per correct · −1 per wrong answer

- MTS is a 10th-level exam — stick to basic arithmetic and Lucent GK.

- 18–25 years for MTS posts. Havaldar posts allow up to 27 years. Category relaxations apply.
