HSE OFFICER-AL MAKTOUM AIRPORT-DUBAI UAE DAEP OR DAR APPROVED- 8MONTHS CONTRACT

Job Location: MAKTOUM AIRPORT DUBAI Reports To: Project HSE Manager

Responsibilities Implement the project HSE management plan, coordinate and monitor its activities. , construction worksites, site offices, warehouses). Ensure all personnel in project as well as visitors, subcontractors, and any interested parties are fully supported with guidance, training, equipment, documentation, inspections and audits covering all HSE matters.

Physically present onsite during activities and ensure workers are operating in compliance to HSE management plan, client

requirements, and laws and regulations. ) and provide advice as necessary. Deliver awareness/training (including HSE Induction) to project personnel, subcontractors, visitors, others involved in project. Contribute to the training matrix and set up the training plan according to objectives and other

requirements. Coach project team members where necessary. Coordinate maintenance of first aid equipment and facilities, order new supplies and destroy out-of-date items as necessary. ). Ensure duty alert and emergency response is well prepared; on a rotational basis serve as an emergency out-of-hours contact point. Monitor employee exposure to hazardous materials. Collect and analyse HSE operational indicators to assess results and suggest improvements if necessary.

Investigate accidents and report findings; keep records of injuries, vehicle accidents, property damage, fires, and crane/heavy equipment accidents. Interact with subcontractors on HSE matters where required or needed. Carry out audits, assessments and inspections to monitor implementation of control measures and provide assurance of compliance with relevant procedures and work instructions, and

requirements of applicable HSE regulations. Perform and carry out other duties as instructed/directly by the Project HSE Manager.

Qualifications The candidate ideally holds an educational degree. Preferably holds NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or recognized international HSE qualification equal or higher than NEBOSH IGC. 5 or TOEFL score 60 (assessed as competent). UAE driving license mandatory (approved by Dubai Airport). Minimum 3 years of work experience as an HSE Officer in a large project (external worksites) preferably in GCC area.

Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in construction or installation activities, preferably in GCC area. Experience and knowledge about HSE procedures in airport projects; knowledge of airport organizational structures and standards, workflows, operating procedures and terminology. Working knowledge of incident and accident investigation techniques and reporting. Audit‑related experience including understanding of compliance

, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001). Additional Information Fluency in English; other languages (French, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu) could be an added value. Ability to write in English technical and audit reports and routine business correspondence. Possess good communication & training skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast‑paced team‑oriented environment; good organisational skills, detail oriented, and customer focused.
