Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and student-centered lessons in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies based on the American curriculum. Differentiate instruction to support ESL learners, gifted students and students with diverse learning needs. Use digital teaching tools and smart classroom technologies to enhance lesson delivery. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessments and student progress reports.

Foster a growth mindset and positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration and curiosity. Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, updates and reports. Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events and collaborative planning with colleagues. Participate in professional development programs and internal teacher training sessions.

Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Education or a bachelor’s degree with a PGCE/PGDE in Elementary Education. Minimum 2 years of recent experience teaching Grade 5 or Upper Elementary level. Familiarity with American curriculum standards (Common Core or similar) is strongly preferred. Strong classroom management and behaviour support techniques. Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills.
