Finance and Projects Data Analyst – Dubai, United Arab Emirates – IT & Services. This role focuses on end‑to‑end data migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle Project Portfolio Management, ensuring accurate extraction, mapping, cleansing, validation, and load of financial and project data.
Job Details• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates • Industry: IT & Services • Function: Analyst • Experience: 3+ years • Job Type: Full‑time • Salary:14,000‑22,000AED (estimated range)Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full data migration process for finance and project data, including extraction, analysis, mapping, cleansing, loading support, validation, and reconciliation.
Work with Sage Evolution, Deltek Vantagepoint, and other legacy ERP systems to prepare migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle PPM. Support Oracle migration activities using tools such as FBDI, ADFdi, HCM Data Loader, and related Oracle data loading methods. Analyze General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Chart of Accounts, and project cost structures (WBS, cost code, resource planning).
Prepare data mapping documents between legacy ERP systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud target structures. Run data quality checks to identify gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies, missing values, and formatting issues before migration. Use advanced Microsoft Excel functions (Power Query, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation) to support reconciliation and transformation work.
Write SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, comparison, and validation across source and target systems. Coordinate with Finance, Projects, IT, and Oracle implementation partners to resolve data issues and secure business sign‑off. Support trial loads, mock migrations, cutover activities, and post‑migration reconciliation. Prepare reconciliation reports, exception logs, issue trackers, and migration status updates for stakeholders.
Ensure migrated data supports UAE VAT, IFRS, internal reporting, and regulatory
requirements where applicable. Ideal ProfileBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP data migration, finance data analysis, or project data analysis. Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials or Oracle Project Portfolio Management. Strong working knowledge of Oracle data migration tools such as FBDI, ADFdi, HCM Data Loader.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation). Ability to write SQL queries for extraction, validation, matching, and exception analysis. , Sage300, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics). Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or project‑based ERP data migration. Good understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Chart of Accounts, and finance master data.
Knowledge of project management data structures (WBS, cost codes, resource planning, project cost tracking). Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy. Oracle Financials Cloud certification is an advantage. ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with UAE Rukn financial localisation, UAE VAT, IFRS, or GCC finance operations will add value.
Familiarity with ETL tools, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Integration Cloud, Power BI, or Oracle Analytics Cloud.
