Environmental Technician

Dome Group is seeking an Environmental Technician to join its environmental team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on practical environmental monitoring, field sampling and factual reporting, with deployment to a remote/offshore project site supporting dredging works.

Key

responsibilities Carry out environmental monitoring and field sampling in accordance with project

requirements and approved methods. Undertake marine water/sediment, soil and groundwater sampling, ambient air quality monitoring and noise surveys as required by the assignment. Operate environmental survey and sampling equipment and maintain accurate field observations and monitoring records. Consolidate survey results and prepare clear, factual environmental monitoring notes and reports.

Support terrestrial and marine ecology surveys and other environmental site activities as required. Coordinate field activities and reporting with the environmental team and site representatives, following project and site safety procedures. Support environmental documentation and related administrative work, and carry out assignments from the Environmental Team Lead. Must-have

requirements A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Ecology or a relevant discipline. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an environmental background and relevant environmental

qualifications/certifications may also apply. At least 3 years of relevant experience as an Environmental Field Technician or in a comparable environmental monitoring and sampling role. Practical environmental sampling/monitoring experience, including marine/sediment, soil, groundwater, ambient air quality and noise work relevant to the assignment. Hands-on ability to operate environmental survey/sampling equipment and maintain accurate field data and records.

Sufficient experience to carry out assigned environmental monitoring independently and prepare clear, factual environmental monitoring reports. Willingness to be based at a remote/offshore project site and undertake field-based work. #J-18808-Ljbffr. Compensation: 70 - 110.
